As a photographer, whether I like it or not, my eye is always on the lookout for places to shoot. You might see a dirty alley way or a random wall of rock, but I see shoot location potential!

In this case it was a golden wattle bush that caught my eye. This time of year they are in full bloom and look absolutely stunning. I was afraid their flowers would drop before I had a chance to use them, so I messaged my girl Kate - and the very next day we were doing a shoot!

I also took advantage of another location I had been longing to use, and funnily enough both spots were on the side of the same busy road - but you would never know we had a mass of cars zipping by only meters away...

I can't thank this girl (and her gorgeous mumma - who was on chauffeur, hair, assistant, and baby-minding duty) enough for being so enthusiastic and as keen to do this session as I was.

I will not be another flower, picked for my beauty and left to die. I will be wild, difficult to find, and impossible to forget.
