Hi, I'm Kristy

I'm a photographer and videographer living on the East coast of Australia with my husband Michael and our son Hosea.

Since I was little, I've always been taking photos and making movies, so much so that my camera is practically a natural extension of my face. Over time my style has evolved and now settles on candid, or what-you-see-is-what-was-there

Even though I've only been in this industry for a few years - turning my true passion into my profession - my experience numbers more closely to my own age.

Nothing honours or humbles me more than when people invite me into the most important events in their lives.

My speciality isn't limited to 'weddings' or 'fashion' - it's real moments and raw emotion.

Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world.

About Kate

Kate is our daughter.

Unfortunately she passed away from a rare disease late into my pregnancy with her.

She never got to take a breath.

Losing our first child was the hardest, most grieving experience of our lives. But despite how difficult it all was, I am amazed at how profoundly her story has impacted people, whether they be our friends or family, or strangers connecting from across the globe.

It was during this tough experience that my values and faith where challenged, and with God's love and support I came out stronger and more certain of my beliefs.

Perhaps you were born for such time as this.
— Esther 4:14

I won't (nor could I ever) forget her. So I honour her short life with the work I do; capturing both the beautiful and powerful moments in this journey we call life.

Our Family

In August 2017, a year and a half after losing our precious Kate, we were blessed with the safe arrival of our rainbow baby - little Hosea!

He was born into water at a speedy 1.5 hrs labour - keen to meet us and start making his mark on the world!

Hosea means 'salvation', which is exactly what he is to us - he was part of our new lifeline, our deliverance from loss.

We know that his big sister would be proud of him and the little man he's becoming...Mr. H, you have lit up our lives and turned our world up-side-down, and we love you to bits!
